After Prologue
Some say it was an alien virus which hitched a ride to earth on a meteor. Others say it was always here, just mutating slowly into the scourge which has wiped the earth clean of humanity (well almost). It doesn't matter to me how or why, but it did it's thing and now we are left to carry on. This is the story of after this epidemic or pandemic was identified and well on the way to running its course. We could look back in history to something to compare it to or really look for a reason why, because that is what we do: try to understand why it came or what we could have done different to keep this from happening. Again it doesn't matter at this point, because it has happened. But out of a sense of doing what we humans often do; I guess I should explain the instrument of our civilization's destruction, my thoughts on why and more to the point what remains after.
